Air India to collaborate with tourism ministry to promote India as global tourism destination

Business To Business, New Delhi, 28th July, 2026:   Air India has partnered with the Ministry of Tourism to jointly promote India as a global tourism destination while strengthening the country's position as a leading aviation and transit hub.
The airline and the ministry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on initiatives spanning tourism marketing, destination storytelling, trade engagement, transit tourism and enhancement of the overall visitor experience, according to a statement issued on Monday.
The partnership will leverage Air India's expanding international network alongside the ministry's 'Incredible India' campaign to boost inbound tourism and increase India's visibility in key overseas markets.
The coordinated efforts are aimed at attracting more international visitors, promoting India's diverse tourism offerings, and enhancing the country's appeal as both a destination and a global transit point.
The collaboration is expected to support the growth of India's tourism sector while reinforcing its role as an emerging international aviation hub.
