Akme Fintrade aims to double its loan book to Rs 1,800 cr by FY28

Business To Business, New Delhi, 7th May, 2026:  Akme Fintrade (India) on Thursday said it aims to double its assets under management (AUM) to ₹1,800 crore by FY28, led by strong growth in its vehicle finance business.
The NBFC is targeting annual AUM growth of around 40% over the next two years, which is expected to double its loan book size by FY28, the company said.
“Our AUM crossed the ₹900 crore milestone, and the vehicle finance portfolio delivered an exceptional 128% growth, backed by expanded dealer networks. Despite elevated funding costs in the first half of FY26, our NIMs stabilised through the second half, a result of disciplined liability management and portfolio mix optimisation,” said Akash Jain.
