Business To Business, New Delhi, 13th May 2026: Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, which markets dairy products under the Amul brand, on Wednesday announced a hike of Rs 2 per litre in milk prices across India, effective May 14, citing rising input costs.
According to a statement issued by GCMMF, the price increase applies to major fresh pouch milk variants and packs sold nationwide.
The federation noted that the previous revision in milk prices had been implemented on May 1, 2025.
The increase comes amid higher procurement, transportation and operational costs faced by dairy cooperatives, which have impacted the overall cost structure of milk production and distribution.
