BCBA Hosts Landmark Second Edition of The India Logistics Conclave 2026 at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai

Business To Business, Mumbai, 20th June, 2026:  The Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers' Association (BCBA), established in 1939, hosted the second edition of The India Logistics Conclave 2026 at the Taj Mahal Palace, attracting more than 550 delegates, industry representatives, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the customs, ports, shipping, trade, and logistics sectors.
Held under the theme "One Fraternity, One Vision — Logistics Driving India Towards Viksit Bharat," the conclave served as a platform for discussions on strengthening India's logistics ecosystem and supporting the country's goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
The event commenced with the ceremonial inauguration of the CBIC Pavilion, followed by the inaugural session. A key highlight was the welcome address delivered virtually by Vivek Chaturvedi, who outlined the vision of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs for a modern customs administration built on technology, efficiency, trust, and facilitation of trade.
Chaturvedi emphasized the importance of a technology-driven and transparent customs framework to support India's growing role in global trade and supply chains. His remarks were well received by participants from the logistics and customs fraternity.
The conclave brought together senior government officials and industry leaders to discuss policy reforms, digital transformation, trade facilitation, port modernization, and supply-chain efficiency, all of which are viewed as critical components of India's long-term economic development strategy.
