Centre opens 4-month window for states to apply for 50 industrial parks under BHAVYA scheme

Business To Business, New Delhi, 23rd May, 2026:  The Centre on Saturday announced a four-month application window for states to submit proposals to establish 50 industrial parks under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA) scheme, which has an outlay of Rs 33,660 crore.
The Union Cabinet had approved the scheme on March 18 for the development of 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across India over a six-year period from 2026–27 to 2031–32.
Under the first phase of the programme, up to 50 industrial parks will be selected through a challenge-based competitive process among states.
The scheme aims to strengthen India’s manufacturing ecosystem by creating ready-to-use industrial infrastructure with modern facilities, faster clearances, and improved logistics connectivity. The planned parks are expected to attract investments, boost industrial output, and generate employment opportunities across multiple sectors.
