Business To Business, New Delhi, 17th July, 2026: The Chhattisgarh government on Thursday informed the Legislative Assembly that electricity dues totalling Rs 5,853.86 crore remained unpaid in the state as of May, with government departments accounting for more than half of the outstanding amount.
According to the government, various state departments owed Rs 3,117.49 crore to the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL), while non-government consumers had pending dues of Rs 2,736.37 crore.
