Dish TV Q1 net loss widens to Rs 286.3 cr on fall in subscription revenue

Business To Business, New Delhi, 11 August 2026:  Direct-to-home operator Dish TV India Ltd reported a sharp widening of its consolidated net loss to Rs 286.3 crore for the June quarter of FY27, primarily due to a decline in subscription revenue, among other factors.
The company had posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 94.53 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.
Financial highlights

  • Net loss: Rs 286.3 crore, compared with Rs 94.53 crore in Q1 FY26
  • Revenue from operations: Rs 265.83 crore
  • Revenue decline: 19.28% year-on-year
  • Q1 FY26 revenue: Rs 329.36 crore
The results reflect continued pressure on Dish TV's core subscription business, with the substantial decline in revenue contributing to the sharp deterioration in quarterly profitability.
