ED chargesheets 3 founders of Gameskraft under PMLA

Business To Business, New Delhi, 26th July, 2026:   The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday filed a chargesheet against three founder directors of online gaming company Gameskraft and others, alleging their involvement in laundering proceeds of crime generated through the alleged cheating of players participating in rummy games offered on the platform.
The chargesheet names Vikas Taneja, Prithvi Raj Singh, and Deepak Singh Ahlawat, who were arrested by the ED in May under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
However, in June, the Karnataka High Court declared the arrests of the three founders invalid, holding that they were contrary to law.
According to the ED, the accused were involved in laundering proceeds of crime allegedly generated through fraudulent practices related to the online rummy platform.
The founders of Gameskraft could not be contacted immediately for their response to the filing of the chargesheet. The allegations made by the ED are subject to judicial proceedings.
