Business To Business, New Delhi, 01st July, 2026: Smart devices maker Fire Boltt on Tuesday announced plans to invest more than USD 50 million (around Rs 472 crore) to expand into the smartphone segment.
The company said it will launch an indigenously manufactured smartphone brand, boltt, from mid-August, marking its entry into India's highly competitive smartphone market.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer Arnav Kishore said the initial investment will be directed towards product development, manufacturing, marketing, distribution and ecosystem expansion.
“boltt has committed an initial investment of over USD 50 million towards product development, manufacturing, marketing, distribution and ecosystem expansion. The investment will continue to scale in line with market demand,” Kishore said.
The planned investment reflects Fire Boltt's strategy to diversify beyond smart wearables and strengthen its presence in the broader consumer electronics market through locally manufactured smartphones.
