Foxconn infuses Rs 351 crore into India arm

Business To Business, New Delhi, 26th June, 2026:   Foxconn has infused USD 37.2 million (around Rs 351 crore) into its Indian subsidiary, Foxconn Hon Hai Technology India Mega Development Private Limited, according to a regulatory filing.
The investment was made through Foxconn's Singapore-based subsidiary as part of the company's continued commitment to expanding its manufacturing operations in India.
Following the latest capital infusion, Foxconn Singapore's cumulative stake in the Chennai-based subsidiary has increased to 99.99 per cent. The investment values the Indian unit at approximately USD 2.82 billion, or around Rs 26,600 crore.
The fresh infusion is expected to strengthen the subsidiary's financial position and support the company's ongoing manufacturing expansion in India, where Foxconn has been ramping up production capabilities amid growing global supply chain diversification.
Foxconn is one of the world's largest electronics manufacturing services providers and has significantly expanded its presence in India through investments in electronics production, particularly in the smartphone manufacturing segment.
The latest investment underscores the company's long-term confidence in India as a key global manufacturing hub and aligns with the country's efforts to attract large-scale investments in the electronics sector.
