FSSAI suspends license of Switz Foods

Business To Business, New Delhi, 01th August, 2026:   The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended the licence of Switz Foods Pvt Ltd after detecting serious violations of food safety regulations at the company's manufacturing unit.
In a post on social media on Saturday, the food regulator said the action was taken following the discovery of "serious non-compliances" during an inspection of the facility.
According to the FSSAI, food products were being manufactured, packed and stored in unhygienic conditions, creating a high risk of contamination and compromising food safety standards.
The suspension of the licence means the company will not be permitted to carry out operations covered under the licence until it complies with the prescribed food safety norms and regulatory requirements.
The regulator has been intensifying inspections and enforcement measures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and protect consumer health.
