Gokaldas Exports Q4 consolidated net down by 31.97 pc at Rs 35.96 crore

Business To Business, Mumbai, 23rd May, 2026:   Gokaldas Exports reported a sharp decline in profitability for the quarter ended March 31, with consolidated net profit falling 31.97 per cent year-on-year to ₹35.96 crore, compared with ₹52.86 crore in the same quarter last year.
Despite the drop in profit, the company posted modest revenue growth. Revenue from operations increased 5.27 per cent to ₹1,068.84 crore during the quarter, up from ₹1,015.33 crore a year earlier.
The weaker earnings performance was attributed to disruptions linked to:

  • US tariff-related pressures
  • Geopolitical instability
  • Volatility in global trade conditions
The results highlight the continuing challenges faced by export-oriented apparel manufacturers, especially those dependent on global supply chains and demand from major western markets such as the United States.
The divergence between revenue growth and falling profit suggests that higher operating costs, supply-chain disruptions, pricing pressures, or margin compression may have affected the company’s bottom line even as sales increased.
