Business To Business, New Delhi, 23rd May, 2026: Piyush Goyal said on Saturday that he will lead a business delegation of more than 150 members to Canada from May 25 to 27 to strengthen investment ties, expand business collaborations, and advance discussions on the proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the two countries.
The minister said several meetings are scheduled with political leaders and business representatives in Ottawa and Toronto.
During the visit, Goyal is expected to meet Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and hold bilateral talks with his Canadian counterpart Maninder Sidhu.
The visit is aimed at deepening economic engagement between India and Canada, with a focus on trade, investment, technology partnerships, and progress on the proposed FTA negotiations.
