HDFC Mutual Fund buys 10 lakh shares of Global Health for over Rs 122 cr

Business To Business, New Delhi, 26th May, 2026:   HDFC Mutual Fund on Monday acquired 10 lakh shares of Global Health through open market transactions for more than ₹122 crore.
According to block deal data available on the National Stock Exchange of India, the shares were purchased from Sunil Sachdeva.
The transaction details indicate:

  • Number of shares purchased: 10 lakh
  • Stake acquired: Around 0.37 per cent
  • Average purchase price: ₹1,225 per share
  • Total deal value: Approximately ₹122.50 crore
Global Health operates hospitals under the Medanta brand and is among India’s major private healthcare providers.
The transaction reflects continued institutional investor interest in India’s healthcare sector and listed hospital companies.
