Hindalco targets Rs 1,000 cr revenue from aluminium window business by FY29

Business To Business, New Delhi, 4th June, 2026:  Hindalco Industries on Thursday said it aims to generate more than ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY29 from its engineered aluminium window systems business marketed under the brand Eternia.
Growth trajectory
According to the company:

  • Eternia has recorded nearly 65% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past three years.
  • The business is benefiting from rising demand for premium aluminium windows and doors in residential and commercial real estate projects.
Drivers of future growth
Hindalco expects the business to cross the ₹1,000-crore revenue mark by FY29 through:
  • Rapid expansion of the aluminium window and door category.
  • Growth of its nationwide partner and dealer network.
  • Enhanced manufacturing capabilities and production capacity.
  • Increasing adoption of premium and energy-efficient building materials.
Strategic significance
The engineered systems business represents Hindalco's move further downstream in the aluminium value chain, allowing the company to capture greater value from its metal production capabilities.
As part of the Aditya Birla Group, Hindalco has been focusing on value-added products and branded building solutions alongside its core aluminium and copper operations.
Market opportunity
The company is seeking to capitalize on:
  • Growth in India's housing and real estate sectors.
  • Rising consumer preference for durable, aesthetically designed aluminium fenestration systems.
  • Increasing awareness of energy efficiency, weather resistance, and low-maintenance building materials.
With strong recent growth and planned capacity expansion, Hindalco sees Eternia emerging as a significant contributor to its value-added products portfolio over the coming years.
