Ireda net profit rises 37 pc to Rs 337 cr in Q1
Business To Business, New Delhi, 03 August, 2026: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) reported a 37% year-on-year increase in its net profit for the June quarter (Q1 FY27), driven by higher revenues.
Key financial highlights:
- Net profit (PAT): Rs 337 crore, up from Rs 247 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, representing a 37% increase.
- Revenue from operations: Rs 2,250 crore, compared with Rs 1,960 crore a year earlier.
The improved performance was primarily supported by growth in operating revenue, reflecting continued demand for financing in the renewable energy sector.
IREDA, a state-owned non-banking financial institution focused on financing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, has continued to benefit from India's expanding clean energy investments and the government's push towards achieving its renewable energy targets.
