Business To Business, Jamshedpur, 25th June, 2026: Jharkhand is at a crucial juncture in its industrial development and has the potential to emerge as a major manufacturing hub in Eastern India, Managing Director of the Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA), Varun Ranjan, said on Thursday.
Speaking at the 7th Edition of the CII Jharkhand Manufacturing Conclave, themed "Transforming Manufacturing: Leadership, Technology & Green Growth", Ranjan stressed the need for a shared vision and coordinated efforts among industry, government, academia, and other stakeholders to strengthen the state's manufacturing ecosystem.
Ranjan, who also serves as the Managing Director of the Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (JIIDCO), highlighted the importance of world-class infrastructure, adequate industrial land, dependable power supply, efficient logistics networks, and strong MSME supply chains in enhancing the competitiveness of industries operating in the state.
He noted that sustained collaboration and investment in these critical areas would play a key role in accelerating Jharkhand's industrial transformation and attracting greater manufacturing investments.
