Business To Business, Thiruvananthapuram, 16th July, 2026: The Kerala government has initiated efforts to position the state as a global semiconductor hub, convening a high-level meeting to formulate strategies for attracting significant investments in the sector.
According to an official statement issued on Thursday, the meeting was chaired by State Industries and IT Minister P. K. Kunhalikutty and focused on leveraging Kerala's strengths as India prepares for what the government described as the country's upcoming "semiconductor revolution."
"As the world enters the next phase of technological advancement, detailed discussions were held on transforming Kerala into a leading semiconductor hub," the statement said.
