Business To Business, New Delhi, 08th July, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) on Wednesday announced that it will increase the prices of its sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and commercial vehicles from July 10 to offset rising commodity costs.
According to the company, prices of its SUV range will be increased by an average of 2.7 per cent, while commercial vehicle prices will go up by an average of 2 per cent.
In a statement, Mahindra & Mahindra said the decision has been necessitated primarily by the continued escalation in commodity prices, which has increased manufacturing costs.
"This price increase is attributed mainly to commodity cost escalations," the company said.
M&M added that the extent of the price hike will vary across different models and variants within its SUV and commercial vehicle portfolio.
The price revision comes as automobile manufacturers continue to grapple with higher input costs, including steel and other key raw materials, prompting several companies to pass on a portion of the increased production costs to customers.
The revised prices will come into effect from July 10 and will apply across Mahindra's SUV and commercial vehicle lineup, with model-specific increases to be announced by the company.
