Business To Business, New Delhi, 16th July, 2026: Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday said it will challenge an order of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Raipur, directing the company to replace a customer's vehicle with a new E20-compatible model over a dispute related to fuel contamination.
The automaker maintained that the vehicle involved in the case was already E20-compatible and fully equipped to run on E20 fuel. It also claimed there was evidence of fuel contamination in the sample collected from the customer's vehicle.
"We have learnt of an order by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Raipur, wherein Maruti Suzuki has been directed to replace the customer's vehicle with a new E20-compatible vehicle," the company said in a statement, adding that it intends to challenge the order.
