Business To Business, Chandigarh, 3rd June, 2026: The leading spice company MDH Spices on Wednesday signed an agreement with six Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Haryana to help connect farmers with global markets, improve income levels, and create new opportunities in the agriculture sector.
Key highlights of the initiative
- The partnership aims to integrate farmers directly into broader supply and export chains.
- It is being implemented with support from the Department of Foreign Cooperation and the Horticulture Department of Haryana.
- The focus is on improving market access, strengthening value chains, and enabling higher returns for farmers.
Government support and vision
Speaking at the event, Nayab Singh Saini said the initiative aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to increase farmers’ incomes through:
- Adoption of modern agricultural technologies
- Expansion into new domestic and international markets
- Better integration of farmers into global agricultural value chains
Significance
The collaboration is expected to:
- Provide FPOs with stable buyers and improved pricing mechanisms
