Business To Business, New Delhi, 29th June, 2026: NITI Aayog has invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) from eligible organisations to conduct a research study on the Export Preparedness Index (EPI).
According to a public notice issued by the government think tank, the selected organisation will undertake a comprehensive study to support the next edition of the Export Preparedness Index, which assesses the export ecosystem across India's states and Union Territories.
Since 2020, NITI Aayog has published four editions of the Export Preparedness Index, providing a detailed evaluation of the country's merchandise export ecosystem at the subnational level.
The think tank said the reports have equipped state governments and Union Territories with region-specific insights, helping promote competitive federalism and enabling targeted policy interventions to strengthen export competitiveness.
The proposed study is expected to build on the previous editions by analysing export-related infrastructure, policy environment, business ecosystem and export performance, while identifying opportunities to improve India's export readiness across regions.
