Odisha bags Rs 41,748 crore investment pledge in food processing from 27 cos
Business To Business Bhubaneshwar, 07 August, 2026: Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday said Odisha has secured investment commitments worth Rs 41,748 crore from 27 companies in the food processing sector, as the state intensifies efforts to attract industrial investment.
Speaking at an investors' meet organised by the Odisha government and ASSOCHAM, the Chief Minister highlighted the state's growing appeal as an investment destination.

Majhi also noted that:
- 22 companies signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 31,648 crore during the investors' meet.

The Chief Minister said the investment commitments reflect the state's ongoing efforts to strengthen food processing infrastructure, create employment opportunities and promote industrial growth through investor-friendly policies.
