Business To Business, New Delhi, 28th June, 2026: Real estate developer Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has around Rs 65,000 crore of unrecognised revenue in its books, supported by robust sales of residential properties over the past three financial years.
The company recorded its highest-ever annual sales bookings of Rs 30,024 crore during the 2025-26 financial year, registering a 76 per cent increase over the previous fiscal.
In an interview with the media, Chairman Irfan Razack highlighted the strength of the company's future revenue pipeline.
"We have got about Rs 65,000 crore of unrecognised revenue in the book. It is not a small amount," Razack said.
Unrecognised revenue refers to sales that have already been booked but cannot yet be recognised in the company's financial statements because the associated projects have not reached the required stage of completion under applicable accounting standards.
The sizeable unrecognised revenue reflects Prestige Estates' strong residential sales momentum and provides substantial revenue visibility for the coming years as ongoing projects are completed and handed over to customers.
