Business Aajkal, New Delhi, 23 Apr. 25: SBI General Insurance announced on Wednesday that it achieved a net profit of Rs 509 crore for the financial year 2024-25, marking a more than two-fold increase compared to the Rs 240 crore net profit recorded in the previous financial year.
The non-life subsidiary of the State Bank of India also reported strong growth in its overall business, with a gross written premium (GWP) of Rs 14,140 crore, which is an increase from Rs 12,731 crore in the previous year. This reflects an 11 percent growth year-over-year, according to the statement from SBI General Insurance. The impressive results underscore the company’s robust performance and expanding presence in the insurance sector.
