Business To Business, New Delhi, 29th July, 2026: Star Health and Allied Insurance Company on Wednesday reported a 25 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 550 crore for the first quarter ended June 2026, driven by growth in its business operations.
The standalone health insurer had posted a net profit of Rs 438 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
According to a regulatory filing, the company's total income rose to Rs 4,471 crore during the April–June quarter, compared with Rs 3,990 crore in the same period a year earlier.
The results reflect steady growth in the insurer's financial performance, with both profitability and income registering healthy year-on-year gains in the first quarter of FY27.
