Business To Business, New Delhi, 28th June, 2026: Two entities linked to British American Tobacco (BAT) received a combined dividend payout of Rs 3,895.74 crore from ITC Ltd during the 2025-26 financial year, according to the company's latest annual report.
BAT's strategic investment in ITC is held through three entities: Tobacco Manufacturers (India) Ltd, Myddleton Investment Company Ltd and Rothmans International Enterprises Ltd.
According to the annual report, ITC paid a total dividend of Rs 3,895.75 crore to Tobacco Manufacturers (India) Ltd (TMI) and Myddleton Investment Company Ltd during FY26.
The dividend payout was lower than the Rs 4,238.93 crore distributed to the two entities in FY25, representing a year-on-year decline of about 8.1 per cent.
The dividend reflects BAT's continued returns from its long-standing strategic investment in ITC, one of India's largest diversified conglomerates with businesses spanning FMCG, cigarettes, hotels, paperboards, packaging and agribusiness.
