Business To Business, New Delhi, 13 September 2025: The Government of Uttar Pradesh aspires to double the state's exports to USD 50 billion by 2030, despite the prevailing uncertainties in the global landscape.
Recently, the UP Cabinet sanctioned the Uttar Pradesh Export Promotion Policy 2025-30, a strategic framework designed to propel this ambitious goal while significantly bolstering the state's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).
This policy incorporates a range of innovative measures, including incentives for service sector exports and startups, the promotion of ODOP (One District, One Product) commodities for export, the establishment of trade facilitation centres, enhanced marketing and freight support, among others—initiatives that are poised to catalyze a profound transformation of the state's economy and generate employment opportunities for the youth, stated Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi', Minister of Industrial Development and Export Promotion of Uttar Pradesh.
