Kolkata, New Delhi, INDIA. New York, USA.
Business To Business, New Delhi, 27th July, 2026: Gold and silver are poised for a crucial week as investors await the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, while developments in the US-Iran conflict and crude oil prices are expected to shape the direction of bullion markets, analysts said.
Market participants will also closely watch key US economic indicators, including Consumer Confidence, Core Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) inflation, and weekly jobless claims, along with monetary policy decisions by the Bank of England and the Bank of Japan.
According to Jateen Trivedi, Vice President (Research Analyst – Commodity and Currency) at LKP Securities, geopolitical developments and energy prices will remain the primary drivers of investor sentiment.
"Market sentiment will continue to be driven by developments in the US-Iran geopolitical situation, the direction of crude oil prices, and their impact on inflation expectations ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy decision on July 29," Trivedi said.
Analysts said the combination of central bank decisions, inflation data, geopolitical risks and movements in energy prices will determine whether gold and silver extend their recent recovery or face renewed selling pressure in the days ahead.
