West Bengal to roll out single-window clearance for investments above Rs 100 crore: CM

Business To Business, Kolkata, 11th July, 2026:    West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday announced that the state government will introduce a single-window clearance mechanism for investment proposals worth ₹100 crore and above to facilitate faster approvals and boost industrial growth.
Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony of Lux Industries Ltd.'s new manufacturing facility at Dankuni in Hooghly district, Adhikari said the government is committed to creating a business-friendly environment and attracting fresh investments.
He also assured investors that land availability would not be a constraint for setting up industries in the state.
The announcement was made while laying the foundation stone for Lux Industries' proposed ₹600-crore garment manufacturing plant, which is being projected as one of Asia's largest garment manufacturing facilities.
The proposed single-window system is aimed at streamlining approvals for large investment projects, reducing procedural delays and strengthening West Bengal's industrial ecosystem.
