25 killed, over 600 injured in 'Gen-Z' agitation in Nepal

Business To Business, Kathmandu, 10 September 2025: According to police and officials, at least twenty-five individuals, including three law enforcement officers, lost their lives amid the tumultuous anti-government protests orchestrated by the 'Gen Z' faction over the past two days in Nepal.
 
Nineteen victims, predominantly young people, were fatalities resulting from gunfire inflicted by security personnel during demonstrations in front of the Parliament building on Monday.
 
Additionally, three police officers were slain by a mob in the Koteshwor district of Kathmandu on Tuesday amidst the violent protests, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the Nepal Police.
