Business To Business, Oslo, 19th May, 2026: India and the Nordic countries on Tuesday agreed to elevate their ties to a Green Technology and Innovation Strategic Partnership aimed at expanding cooperation in clean and green transition, trade and investment, and the blue economy.

In a joint press statement, Modi said the participating countries would continue working together to strengthen the rules-based global order.
He added that their shared commitment to democracy, the rule of law and multilateralism made them “natural partners”.
The summit brought together leaders from Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden, with discussions focusing on sustainability, innovation, digitalisation and economic cooperation.
