Business To Business, Abu Dhabi, 15th May 2026: Narendra Modi on Friday said India is ready to extend all possible support for efforts aimed at restoring peace in West Asia during talks with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The leaders also oversaw the signing of agreements to strengthen strategic cooperation between India and the United Arab Emirates in areas including energy and defence.
The Modi–Al Nahyan meeting took place shortly after the Indian prime minister arrived in the UAE on the first leg of his five-nation tour, which also includes visits to four European countries.
In his opening remarks, Modi condemned the recent attacks on the UAE and reiterated India’s support for regional stability and security.
The discussions are understood to have focused on strengthening bilateral ties, expanding economic and strategic partnerships, and reviewing the evolving security situation in West Asia amid ongoing regional tensions.
