India provides assistance to build hospital in Nepal's Manang

Business To Business, Kathmandu, 30th May, 2026: India and Nepal have jointly laid the foundation stone for a hospital building in the remote Nason Rural Municipality in northern Manang District.
The foundation stone was laid on Thursday by Rakesh Pandey and Dhan Bahadur Gurung.
According to a press release issued by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, the hospital will be constructed with Indian financial assistance of NRs 56 million under the High Impact Community Development Project programme.
The initiative is part of India's development partnership with Nepal, which includes support for healthcare, education, infrastructure and community-development projects in various parts of the Himalayan nation.
