Business To Business, Singapore, 29th May, 2026: Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh met Admiral Samuel J. Paparo in Singapore on Friday and discussed regional security challenges and defence cooperation in the Indo-Pacific.
The talks took place on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue 2026 and focused on strengthening military-to-military cooperation and addressing emerging security concerns in the Indo-Pacific region, according to India’s Ministry of Defence.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of India and the United States to deepening defence ties at a time when the Indo-Pacific is increasingly viewed as a central arena of global strategic competition.
India and the US have expanded defence cooperation in recent years through joint exercises, technology collaboration, and strategic coordination on maritime security and regional stability.
