Indian Army major wins two awards at US Army’s advanced training course
Business To Business, New York, 4th June, 2026: An officer of the Indian Army has earned international recognition at a prestigious U.S. military leadership programme, winning two major academic awards at the graduation ceremony of the US Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth.

- Birrer-Brookes Award for Outstanding Master of Military Arts and Science Thesis
- General Douglas MacArthur Military Leadership Writing Award

Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC).

10-month professional military education programme designed to prepare mid-career military officers for senior leadership, command, and staff responsibilities.
