Indian rider Kavin Quintal impresses in Spain

Business To Business, Madrid, 2nd June, 2026:   Indian motorcycle racer Kavin Quintal has begun his 2026 Copa de España de Velocidad campaign in impressive fashion, securing two podium finishes in the opening round of the championship.
Strong opening weekend
Competing for the BMW easyRace Team in the Superbike 1000cc category, the Chennai-born rider delivered consistent performances against a highly competitive field of 33 riders.

  • Race 1 (Saturday): Finished 2nd
  • Race 2 (Sunday): Finished 3rd
  • Qualifying: Secured 2nd position on the grid
Kavin narrowly missed out on victory in the opening race but still collected valuable championship points and demonstrated strong pace throughout the weekend aboard the BMW M1000RR.
Continuing a trailblazing career
The 21-year-old has already made history for Indian motorsport. In 2024, he became the first Indian rider to compete in the Supersport 300 World Championship during the World Superbike Championship round in the Czech Republic.
