Iran targets American strongholds around the Gulf while US hits more Iranian military sites

Business To Business, Dubai, 25^th July, 2026:   Iran and the United States exchanged fresh military strikes on Friday, marking the 13th consecutive night of hostilities, with both sides signalling they are prepared for a prolonged confrontation.
Iran targeted American military positions around the Persian Gulf, while the US carried out strikes on Iranian military sites, underscoring the escalating conflict and diminishing prospects for an immediate diplomatic breakthrough.
Amid growing regional tensions, US embassies across the Middle East issued advisories warning American citizens that options to leave the region could become increasingly limited if the security situation deteriorates further.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also urged residents of neighbouring countries to stay away from military bases hosting US troops, indicating the possibility of further attacks.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed Tehran's defiant stance, saying the country would not yield to pressure from Washington.
Vowing that Iran "will not bow to US" bullying, Araghchi said Tehran was continuing consultations with China and Russia and warned that the Islamic Republic was "neither intimidated by threats nor will we yield to pressure."
The latest exchange of strikes highlights the deepening military confrontation between the two rivals, raising concerns over wider instability across the Middle East.
