Members of Nepal's political party protest against PM's absence

Business To Business, Kathmandu, 18th May, 2026: Members of Shram Sanskriti Party staged a protest in the House of Representatives of Nepal on Monday, questioning the absence of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
The protest took place during discussions on issues raised by lawmakers concerning the government’s policies and programmes.
As the session began, party chair and parliamentary leader Harka Sampang, along with other legislators, displayed placards inside the House as part of the demonstration.
The protest highlighted opposition concerns regarding the prime minister’s absence during parliamentary deliberations on key policy matters.
