Business To Business, Kathmandu, 20th July, 2026: A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.0 struck Rukum East district in Nepal's Lumbini Province on Sunday, officials said.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre (NEMRC), the earthquake occurred at 4:30 pm local time, with its epicentre located in the Kol area of Rukum East, about 400 km west of Kathmandu.
Tremors were also felt in neighbouring districts, including Rolpa, Baglung and Myagdi. There were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage.
