Nepal’s ruling party president Lamichhane to embark on 5-day visit to India
Business To Business, Kathmandu, 1st June, 2026: Rabi Lamichhane, president of Nepal's ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), is scheduled to begin a five-day visit to India on Monday.
According to a party statement, Lamichhane is travelling at the invitation of Nitin Nabin and will hold a series of political and diplomatic engagements in New Delhi.
Planned meetings
During the visit, Lamichhane is expected to:
- Meet senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
- Hold high-level political and diplomatic discussions.
- Interact with members of the Nepali community living in India.
- Meet party supporters and well-wishers.
Ayodhya visit
The party also said Lamichhane will undertake a personal visit to Ayodhya, one of Hinduism's most important pilgrimage centres.
