New UK education tie-up to benefit youth in India with jobs, training

Business To Business, London, 20th May, 2026:   Cambridge University Press & Assessment and Alsama Project have signed an agreement at the Education World Forum in London to introduce a new qualification aimed at young people in India and around the world.
The new qualification, called G12++, is intended to address the global education crisis affecting displaced and marginalised youth by offering a recognised pathway to higher education, vocational training and skilled employment.
The organisations have also issued a call for universities, employers and policymakers to support the expansion of the initiative globally so that it can benefit young people who are often excluded from university education, training opportunities and formal employment.
