Business To Business, Islamabad, 18th May, 2026: Pakistan’s security forces have killed 35 members of Balochistan-based militant groups and arrested at least three senior commanders during intelligence-based operations in recent days, according to the provincial government.
The operation began on May 13 in the Mangla Zarghoon region on the outskirts of Quetta and continued for four days.
Shahid Rind, quoted by Dawn, said the security forces destroyed several camps and hideouts during the operation and detained three commanders linked to the groups.
The operations come amid continuing security challenges in Balochistan, where separatist and militant groups have carried out attacks against security forces and infrastructure projects in recent years.
