Pak PM Shehbaz visits Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot; interacts with soldiers

Business Aajkal, LAHORE, 14 May 2025: On Wednesday, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot, where he interacted with officers and soldiers involved in the recent military confrontation with India. Pasrur Cantonment, located approximately 130 kilometers from Lahore, serves as a key military location in the region.
The confrontation was part of the broader conflict stemming from Operation Sindoor, launched by India on the intervening night of May 6 and 7. India claimed the operation was in retaliation for the killing of 26 people in a terror attack in Pahalgam. During the operation, Indian armed forces targeted nine terror sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, resulting in the death of over 100 terrorists.
