Pakistan says 11 military personnel killed, 78 others injured during military confrontation with India

Business Aajkal, ISLAMABAD, 13 May 2025: Pakistan announced on Tuesday that during recent military clashes with India, 11 Pakistani military personnel, including a squadron leader, were killed and 78 others wounded.
In addition, the Pakistan military claimed that Indian forces carried out "unprovoked and reprehensible" attacks on the night of May 6-7, resulting in the deaths of 40 civilians and injuries to 121 others.
India responded to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack with precision strikes under 'Operation Sindoor' targeting terror infrastructure early on May 7. Subsequently, Pakistan attempted to retaliate by attacking Indian military bases on May 8, 9, and 10. The situation remains tense amid these ongoing hostilities.
