PM Modi discusses clean energy, digitalisation, trade with Nordic counterparts

Business To Business, Oslo, 19th May, 2026:   Narendra Modi on Tuesday held separate meetings with the prime ministers of Iceland, Finland and Denmark to discuss ways to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas including clean energy, trade, sustainability and digitalisation.
The meetings took place ahead of the India-Nordic Summit.
During his talks with Kristrun Frostadottir, Petteri Orpo and Mette Frederiksen, Modi reviewed the overall trajectory of India’s relations with the three Nordic countries.
The discussions focused on expanding cooperation across strategic and emerging sectors as India strengthens engagement with Nordic nations in technology, green transition and economic partnerships.
