Business To Business, New York, 15th May 2026: Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump on Friday described their discussions as “historic” and “landmark” as Trump concluded his three-day visit to China, though no major agreements on contentious issues were announced.
The two leaders held multiple rounds of talks covering a wide range of global and bilateral matters, including the Iran conflict, energy security and trade tensions between China and the United States.
The discussions concluded with a private meeting at Zhongnanhai, the heavily guarded leadership complex in Beijing where senior Chinese leaders reside.
