Business To Business, Islamabad, 22nd June, 2026: The United States and Iran have agreed on a roadmap to work toward a final agreement within the next 60 days following hours of negotiations at Bürgenstock, according to mediators Qatar and Pakistan.
In a joint statement issued on Monday, the mediators described the discussions as taking place in a "positive and constructive" atmosphere.
They said the talks resulted in "encouraging progress", including the establishment of a mechanism for further technical-level discussions aimed at resolving outstanding issues.
The agreement on a 60-day roadmap is intended to provide a structured framework for continued negotiations and to build on recent diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and advance a broader settlement between Washington and Tehran.
While no final agreement has yet been reached, the creation of a formal process for technical talks is being viewed as a significant step toward narrowing differences and maintaining momentum in the negotiations.
