US urges its nationals to leave West Asia amid 'complex security situation'

Business To Business, New York, 02 August, 2026: The United States embassies in several West Asian countries on Saturday advised American citizens to consider leaving the region or be prepared to depart as tensions with Iran escalated and the security situation became increasingly uncertain.
US embassies in Jerusalem and other West Asian capitals issued identical security alerts, urging American nationals to exercise heightened caution and carefully assess travel to or within the region.
The advisories cited the "complex security situation" and encouraged US citizens to remain vigilant, monitor official updates and be prepared to leave if circumstances deteriorate.
The warnings came after US President Donald Trump threatened further military action against Iran. Speaking at Camp David on Friday, Trump said the United States would continue striking Iran "very hard" until it "can't take it anymore."
The heightened rhetoric and security alerts underscore growing concerns over regional stability, with diplomatic missions urging American citizens to prioritise their safety amid the evolving situation.
