2 officers among 5 dead as IAF transport plane crashes in Assam, co-pilot survives
Business To Business, New Delhi, 13th June, 2026: Five personnel of the Indian Air Force, including two officers, were killed on Saturday when a Antonov An-32 transport aircraft crashed while landing at Jorhat.
According to sources, six personnel were on board the aircraft at the time of the accident. The co-pilot survived with injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a military hospital in Jorhat.

The Antonov An-32 is a twin-engine military transport aircraft of Russian origin that has been used by the Indian Air Force for decades for:
